With all the options in Michigan, why do they go to the Detroit River 3 times?  I considered fishing these this year but not now.  Dumb.

I think that is where they feel they will get the biggest draws overall on average.

Aren't they down to the final 12 by Sat?  If so, no big deal.

Or is it top 50 on Sat and top 12 on Sun?  Still 50 boats 25 miles away no biggie.

My thoughts would be
There would be 150 boats of really good fishermen sticking every thing for a week before

150 boats hooking 20 fish a day is 3000 fish hooked every day
It's going to have a affect on spots and the bite

First off I believe the Elites top off at about 100. Second the guys at that level Don't stick a lot of fish in Practice. They catch one or two to check size, then they move on. They also find a lot of fish with their side imaging. At Largemouth fisheries they shake off alot of fish also. At some lakes it is not uncommon for them to idle around looking 80% of the time.

There's a lot more than that many anglers out there bass fishing every week anyway. The bass won't know if they are tournament anglers, anglers practicing or non-tournament anglers. The fishing will still be real good.

Don't forget you have to have your 2013 membership paid before you can Register for the BFLs...I tried to Register for the Everstart this morning but hadn't taken care of my dues...(Even though my membership for 2012 hadn't expired yet)
