Title: 9-14/915 lsc

fished for a couple of hours with firefighter jeff in the channels.  The usual not much going on.  Water temp was 70 and water had a little stain to it.  A secondary spot was working in the south channel.  We each caught fish with multiple followers.  Had a few bites that we missed as well.  Tubes, drop shots and the goby replica worked that day.

Saturday my partner bailed so that was fun.  I fished the channels and river until 1:00 before heading into the lake.  I managed to get a limit but upgrading was almost impossible for me.  I had 2 -3lb fish one 3.5 lb fish and two barely crossing the 14" mark.  I almost didn't want to weigh them in.  At weigh in I heard that I wasnt the only one struggling.  A few fish up near marine city on dropshots and swammers on football heads.  Some fell to cranks in the south channel.  Actually the spot Jeff and I fished friday was still working just the big ones didn't want to bite.
