Went out thurs afternoon. Action was still pretty good at one of the community river spots. Another spot thats not really known had no one home. Average weight was up a bit with some 4lb fish. Boat control was hard with the wind which really was a bugger as the fish were on the spot on the spot so to speak. I stopped at a ferry crossing launch on my way to the ramp just to see what it was like on the bottom. Nailed a 5.5 lb smallie first drift. 35 fow. Tubes still arent producing for me but the goby replica pulled the biggest bass with drop shotting just behind. Water temp still 73 and clear. I did find a couple new spots as well that produced which could be a help in the future. Waynes ds tube in erie goby was killer.
I really like the Erie Goby color. I catch lots of bass on that color. Anymore, I usually have it tied on when I hit St. Clair or connected waters.
