well went out today, realize fish aren't biting anymore.....so i figured i put up my poles for the winter since i ain't used to fishing in 30 degree weather. Now comes buying lures through the winter for next year....my girl is already female doging about the money i spend....lol
Any tips on how to winterize the fishing stuff?
Tip 1 - clean your rods and reels - warm soapy water/rinse, and loosen the drags on the reels
Tip 2 - make sure all your tackle boxes/container dry out good and fast to avoid rust.
Don't put them up yet, just change species. The King Salmon and steelhead are biting.
I went out this morning it was 37 degrees and had a great time. The river only had three other people crazy enough to come out.
