Hello all,
I have recently started using a swivel when Dshotting to help prevent line twists.
There are 3 knots that have to be tied obviously and I use the palomar knot with the hook ....what knots should I use with the swivel?
Is it possible to use palomar's for all 3 and if so should I tie in a specific order?
Also how many inches or feet should I tie the swivel above the hook?
Thanks all.
I use a Palomar for all three. First I tie a swivel on the line. Then I cut it of 2and half to 3 feet up the line. Then I tie the swivel back on the line, then the hook.

I do the same thing. I use the same method for rigging up a C-Rig. I use a Polamar 95% of the time or more.
Have you ever tried Zona's shark knot. He, and I know for sure Gerald Swindel use this knot. I filmed him tying the knot at DNR Sports a while back. I also have the video on my blog page.

I'm still looking for the shark?!?
I found going to braid with a Fluoro leader has eliminated my line twist and need for swivel
What knot do you use? Uni to uni? Surgeons?
