I had not been out to East Sister Island recently so I there over the weekend. The winds were light and out of the southwest. The surface water temperature was 75 degrees.
The smallmouth bite was almost non-existent but the two boats around me were into the walleyes. One guy said he was throwing crawlers on a harness. I saw the three guys in his boat catch several walleyes. The water depth was 10'.
