Title: You know it has been a bad year when....
Post by: motocross269 on August 22, 2011, 09:08:14 AM
As far as time to go bass fishing....I clicked on Great Lakes Bass' weather portal for the first time today since May.....I hope to get out once or twice this week.... ;D

I usually religously check it before I head to LSC or Erie.....One stop place for all of the necessary info...

.......you haven't fished enough in a season than what one usually fishes in a season.  I know I have fished way less this season than I have previously.  But that goes along with responsibilities to family, work etc.

I have not been on LSC or Erie yet this year.   >:(

Boat has only been out of the garage about 5 times since last September.

Anyone want to buy a Z21...a year and a half left on the factory Merc warranty as it sits waiting for me to use it.

We should start a new club... I did go fishing today in downtown Lansing with cameraguy. We actually had a pretty nice day. But it has been a sparse year.

.........your boat gets hit by a car on opening morning.  Then, when you get a new one, it spends one day at home and 6 in the shop for the first month you own it.  Then, you start fishing tournaments, and half way through you realize that with only one income you can't continue.  Hope next year is better.

Ouch! Hang in there guys!! I've actually had the opposite - fished more than ever this year (well, since getting married and having kids) and have had a successful tournament season. It WILL be better for ya next year :)
