Hello all,
I was wondering what kind of hooks you guys prefer when Dshotting chunkier 4" baits like Goby's or Slammer's ect.
I pretty much use Gammy 1 and 1/0 for all other baits with good success and I noticed gammy also makes a wide gap fineese hook will thhis work ok if so any size recomendations?
Also does anyone prefer black tungsten weights over the shiny silver color?
I prefer the black color but the only company I know that makes them is xcal and I really don't like them.
I use Owner mosquito hooks. Sizes 2,1, & 1/0 for my drop shot needs.
For weights, I get mine from Mark Hill. When the lead gets a little older it loses its shine.
I've never found the shine to be detrimental at all.
