I went down to Portage Lake to stick the motor in the water and test her out.  Launch is open for the year.
Motor started on the first crank in just a couple of seconds.  Great. 

I called the DNR in Pinckney.  They told me that Half Moon was scheduled to be put in today also. 

Went by Kent yesterday and the rock by the E way is almost under water.

And so it begins......
