Title: Float Tubes?
Post by: eetz on April 10, 2011, 11:25:43 AM
I was wondering what float tubes you guys are using (is anyone using these?).

I was looking at the offerings at Bass Pro last night and liked the Fish Cat for $195, but just wanted to see what recommendations you have.

Been many years, but I did have a fairly plain one way back that I used on Lake Ovid a bunch. Just get one that will hold your weight with some extra and hold a respectable amount of stuff including a place to set your rod while you're doing things.

Kick fins might help but you'll get moved around a little. I always expected to do a 360 (vertical) on a big fish one day but I never quite pulled it off.
