Title: New Nemesis Craw!!
Post by: LipRip on March 07, 2011, 10:08:15 PM
I swung by McCarters house this weekend and he showed me the new Nemesis craw that he's been working on for quite some time now. They're really sweet, it really comes to life when its in the water! I can't wait to try them out! Here are some pics!  ;D

Hard to tell the size in the pictures.
Can these  be used as trailers on the ever popular up skirt jig, or should they be fished alone?

These look like they will be great for flipping and pitching into the weeds.  Should slide through them with ease!

Any guess to how heavy one of these are?

So what is this thing called?

The bait is 4" overall and 2.25" of it is the body. A 4/0 gama round bend worm hook fits perfect in it. I'm sure these things will slide right through the weeds with no problem!

They are meant to be fished as a craw bait with a bullet sinker in front, they might be a little big to put on as a trailer......guess that depends on how big ur jig is!

There is still no name for em..........I'm sure McCarter will come up with something soon, he's good at that!

i will break out the camera tonite and play around.  Obviously, it will be great for pitching and punching.  I like it on a football head alot.  thats mainly how i fished the prototypes the last 2 years.  I also threw it as a finnesse football jig trailer.  very effective on a tough bite.  i am gonna be playing with it a lot this season on a neko rig.  i have rigged it up in the tank and it has some real nice moves.  it will be a smallie killer.  and will most likely put some big largies in the box as well.  maybe even a rockbass or 2.

Now just a durn minute here...

...I thought I held the regional title of "Mr. green pumpkin with purple".

Dude, it looks sweet.  Maybe the same kind of lightly floating plastic as the worm?  I can see those long flaps slowly rising on the stop, like a sexy little finger wiggle that says "come on over".   ;)

Hey Guys,

I'm living in South Texas and let me tell you I have had a pack of these in Watermelon Red for quite some time and they have never failed to CATCH fish each and everytime I have hit the water.

I fished Choke Canyon this past saturday and it was a very efficient bait to punch the grass mats with and really caught some good 4's and 5's!!

GIVE IT A TRY!! NEMESIS BAITS ROCK!!

Went hermit for a while.   :-\'

Long story, tell you all about it over a few cold ones one night.  I'm in your neck of the woods on Thursdays now, could prove dangerous over time.  LOL

PM me your phone numbers.  Still recovering from my phone getting wet in Alabama.

The Bullet Craws were a hit at the Wonderland Show this weekend.  I think we only had a couple bags of one color left.  Copper w/ green flake.  If you had a chance to play with it in the tank at the show, please chime in and give me some feedback of your initial impression.  Unfortunatly, i had to work Saturday and missed the whole day @ wonderland.  I was there today from about 1-5 pm tho and got some really nice comments on it.

also got a text from a customer who ordered some and had me ship them to his motel in KY.  he got 2 fish on it today.  One over 6 and one over 5.

Man i cant wait to throw this thing!

P.S.  Sorry to Benny Miller.  I forgot to tell chris to set the gp purple aside for you.  i will have them done this week for ya.

I picked up three bags of the craw on Saturday. They really are awesome looking and I was pleasantly surprised by the size. From the pictures I thought it was going to be bigger and bulkier. They aren't, they are smaller and could be used as a jig trailer or alone on a jig head. I can wait to throw this around and my first chance will be a dale hollow in a few weeks. I bet I'll need to restock after that trip!

Brian, when will you be adding them to your website? Always looking for a new flipping bait and those look awesome. I'm fishing a BFL in Ohio in June and would like to check them out before then. I also need some more of your stick baits for that tournament too.

Hoping Chris will get them added pretty quick.  There are a few products that are not on the site yet.  If u need some just email me.

Yes Gp purple will be a stock color.  We will also have:

Klk
Black/blue
Junebug
Gp
Gp/red
Wm
Wm/red
Naughty craw
Pig destroyer
Wm/gold
Roadkill

And I got a tool that allows me to do laminates so as  soon as i have time to play with it a little more, we will have 4 or 5 stock 2-tone colors as well.
