KVD had a dig for Berkley in the prees conference that followed the tourny.
Qoute: "Pros developing baits.... what a novel idea." ;D
So there reinventing the twin tail grub?
I just don't see any thing special there

might have to try the " Craw Fatty " not that it will work but I like the name. Looks like they are all for sale. Be interesting to see the TV coverage to see what they are using. The still photos on bassmaster show KVD using his new crankbait.
I got some of the Havoc baits at the show as free samples. There was a flier that went with them touting how they were all designed by pros. I had a laugh at the twin tail grub too. The other ones don't look too bad, the "spear" might be good, looks kind of like a beaver without any legs.
Stopped at Jann's Netcraft this weekend and they already had these in stock.
i was surprised to see that they didn't have any scent.
I watched the promo video for these. The spade tail had a suprising amount of movement.
Here's a link if you want to see it, kinda corny...

Picked some they look good. Something new. The ones I have still have a little powerbait type scent. Maybe it is the plastic? Cant get a senko of my hook though.
KVD already has a a line of soft plastics. Today on the Hook & Look on versus, they were fishing with some nice looking Gobys where the jig went inside the body of the goby.

I wanted to see that one too. My son had a soccer game this morning so I missed it.
