I took that picture last week in Frankenmuth on the Cass River just below the dam
Hmmmmmm I see ice rescue written all over that picture !!!
That is too close for me! I was up in the U.P. a couple weeks ago when this rescue took place:

Pretty amazing that these guys were saved. They were riding little chunks of ice (4'x8') in up to 12' swells.
That sounds like a normal day out on Lake Erie for me! ;D
