Yep - I'm assuming that is why we love Michigan

Hard to read but I think it says "Best freshwater access"
Poor Oklahoma. Their claim to fame? Best license plate. WOW

I duuno - they could have said something about the lakes too. Having lived there and living in Michigan, I would take the Oklahoma water over ours any day. Year round tournaments. The big open water smallie fishing gets old here, but if you want to fish big events, that is really the only option so thats what I do. I loved fishing 300 boat inland, calm water largie events.

You need to get out more!! What does OK have.... 8 lakes in the entire state? Michigan has thousands of lakes WITH RAMPS you could launch a bass boat in. Thanks, but I'll stay here. ;D
I'm staying too!
indiana, oh boy. most vice presidents? what an honor ::)
Your motto could be "always 2nd place!" ;D

For now as long as I have a job, I am staying in Michigan too. When I retire which isn't that far off for me, then I am wintering down south, maybe OK and summering up here in Michigan. I intend to get the best of both worlds of freshwater bass fishing.
BD ;D

We already saw all those posts. Why repost them all like that?

Ya all you softy's can move out of state. That leaves lake St Clair all to my self! Although I can still come down and visit y'all"
LOL@Bill. Been there, done that.
"Been there done that"
Now that's one of them sayings we have been talking about.
:o :-*
I've lived in many states due to my dad being an Army man. Texas, Louisiana, Kentucky, and so on. I must say, I wouldn't leave MI for the world. Granted, you can fish year round down south, and the fish are bigger, but why leave MI? I love having 4 seasons. Michigan rocks. I have so many lakes within 10 minutes of my house, I could never get bored. I love it here.
"I have so many lakes within 10 minutes of my house, I could never get bored."
Thats the reason I like West MI.
hey dan, your right about 2nd place. at least for me in tourney's
first ice-out challenge i catch a 44"musky and the winner get's a 45 1/2". 3 years ago on a friday night league i get a 39 and the winner get's a 40" after i also lose a smaller musky that would've won me 180$ which would have paid for a new rod after i broke my okuma rod >:( second place paid 00.00.
