Went out on White Lake (Whitehall/Montague) for about 6 hours on Sunday. Water temp was around 60. Weeds were in full bloom already. Battled the wind and waves all day. Caught a nice feisty 18" SM about 15 minutes in on a light colored 4" tube in 6' of water. Highlight of the day. Shortly after that caught a 12" LM on a green spinnerbait in same location. Lost 2 real nice SM on a grey Ratltrap while battling the wind and waves (best excuse I can think of). Trolled for awhile and caught 4 big sheepshead (I think) and a 16" LM on a 6" suspending Thunderstick (black + gold). Got tired of being pushed around and went home at 2:00. Not my best day, not my worst. Still beats work!
