I went out to Fremont lake last night with my dad. He wanted some walleye, and I just wanted to catch something, because I had never even seen that lake before. I froze my a#% off, and hooked one little perch on a Rapala. Great fun. It was cool hanging out with the old man, fishing out of his 12 foot Bass Tracker, just like old times. But, it was cold. I'm not used to having to sit still, seems like the front deck of my Nitro is bigger than his whole boat. Did I mention it was cold? But anyways, I think I'm going to put the boat up this week, and call it a done season. It's snowmobile time! Can you guys do some kind of snow dance or something for me? Boy I bet several of you will ask yourselves "What's this guys problem?" At least I hope your thoughts are that kind when you see I asked you to be happy about snow. ;D
my old van with 297,587 miles doesn't make much heat in the winter so i'm not real crazy about the snow.plus i have to move my boat out of the garage so i can put ole blue inside for the winter so that means i 'm done fishing and i don't want to be :(
went for the last time today. now its goose hunting, ice fishing and hopefully a trip to illinois come february... :)
