Wish I could have bought one of these new units but just not in the budget plus it would be the worth half what my boat is worth.

You can usually buy transducers only through Bass Pro Shops. You can link to BPS right through the website and the site gets some kind of reward for that helping it out financially. Whenever I buy something for fishing online, I always try to link through this site.
