Joshimoto is taking me out fishing this saturday. Is there anything I need to know ahead of time? Protective gear I need? Do I need to leave my travel plans with a close relative incase of emergency or I come up missing?

Josh is a good guy. No need to worry. Just make sure to get plenty of sleep the night before so you have the energy to catch all the fish he will be putting you on.
And if your real lucky, his mom will make some cookies for you guys to take with you.
PoorBoy himself :-\'
You can't fish with a better guy than Josh.
Just make sure you bring a soft sided tackle box. (hard ones fly around).
Just be sure to be on the very back of the back casting deck. When Josh starts whipping his baits around going for distance, well.... you can hear 'em whizzing over your head.
