Title: Smallmouth replicas
Post by: Firefighter Jeff on September 20, 2010, 12:21:37 AM
Dan,

I wasn't sure where to post this item.  I'm sure you'll move me if you have to.  lol  I was wondering if you guys had some leads on smallmouth replicas.  Links or websites so I can check out the work would be best.  Also, is it true there are different "cores or forms" if you want to call them that for different types of smallies??  For instance a great lakes smallie compared to others??  As in they have a bigger girth??  Thanks in advance for all your help.  No I didn't just get a big smallie  :(  But was thinking about finally getting one done for a fish I got a couple years ago.

Here is fine. I've never had it done so I can't help other than to say there's some well known shops around Michigan. You might have to drive an hour or two to look at their work personally. I'm sure a Google search would provide some online examples. I would hope there are different body shapes to choose from.
