Title: Higgens Lake Help
Post by: mikesmiph on September 05, 2010, 06:45:28 PM
I have some friends going to Higgens Lake next weekend. They arent fishermen, but want to fish. Not particular what they catch. I told them I would try to get some pointers for them. I havent fished there in many years. What is caught there, and where, and on what? Any help would be...... well.... helpful lol. ???

Smallmouth are hard to come by out there. Try fishing minnows for good sized perch and rockbass. If they don't care what they catch have them find the sunken island on the south end of the lake and fish minnows, they will catch rockers all day long. Hope this helps Mike!
