Title: Looking for some help on hotels around LSC
Post by: Andy on September 04, 2010, 10:23:41 PM
Ok guys I'm heading to the big pond the end of Sept and we always stay at the Microtel in Roseville but I'm seeing some real bad reports saying its fill of crackheads. So I'm looking for some help from you good people on a good stay for a good price around the same area, boat parking is a plus and evenbetter if i don't have to unhook from the truck. So that's what I'm after so if any one have some info PLEASE post and I will be very greatfull  ;D

Angler's Point has rooms and a slip available right on Anchor bay....586-949-9223...They fill up quick so call them now....

There are a couple of hotels up in Chesterfield...but those are a little "tough" also....

If you don't mind spending a little the Holiday Inn Express on M59 and I-94 has plenty of room and is only a few miles from most of the ramps....I think that is a Chesterfield address also...It is a brand new hotel...

There are cottages on Harsen's Island to rent but I don't have the numbers...You can probably do a google search...

I've stayed there numerous times.  I like it, fairly clean'  It's hard to leave your boat hooked up, but I have seen guys do it behind the hotel while parking on the other side of the parking lot, in the grass.  You''ll have to run a cord to the boat though. Reasonably priced, and check for discounts we got one once for having Sam's club membership/

How about a cheap hotel, near the north channel launch, on the St. Clair river? I would like to spend a couple days fishing the channels.
