Luckily, no one was hurt, and the ferry passengers and crew helped rescue all four who were aboard the plane.

TOLEDO, Ohio -- A small plane crashed in Lake Erie narrowly missing a ferry full of people. The crash happened just before noon near the Miller ferry dock. That's at South Bass Island near Put-In-Bay. Four people were on board the plane.
All 4 passengers were pulled from the water safely without any injuries. Investigators say the pilot made the decision to land the Cessna plane on the water after he lost power and couldn't re-start. The small plane crashed less than 100 feet from a ferry full of people.
