read an article in todays paper:

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP: Fish kill on Belleville Lake to be investigated
Township officials said they have received several reports of a significant fish kill on Belleville Lake and has contacted the Michigan Department of Natural Resources and Environment to investigate.

The fish kill seems to be the result of high water temperatures and low dissolved oxygen, township officials said. There is no evidence of a toxic spill.

anybody seen this out there?? ROI had a tourney out there yesterday.

I was there Sat also and saw 1 good size bluegill floating upright tilted up with his lips at the surface but not moving at all. Fishing was tough, lots of fish but keepers were hard to come by for me.
