Title: Michigan Center
Post by: Frank-o on July 11, 2010, 08:03:43 PM
Went out today with 7 other guys from my club to Michigan Center. Not much luck for anyone. Two keepers largemouth was the best anyone could do. Lots of dinks and pike. In fact, i hooked a nice pike about 30 - 32 inches and pretty stocky, too. Was trying to shake him off so as not to get all that slime in my boat when he gave a powerful tail kick and broke me off - dummy me  lol
I caught my two keeper on black swim senkos texas rigged. They either crushed them as soon as they hit the water or they totally ignore them. Caught a few dinks out deeper on a sexy shad crankbait, but couldn't get the big ones to bite.
Heading to LSC next week.

Michigan Center is a tough lake quite often though there have been some big'uns caught there. I did well once on Wolf Lake.
