Hey everyone. Looking to go out tomorrow morning for smallies. Have been thinking about hitting the Flat River near Greenville. Looking to wade. Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations as to where to hit?
Also, was turned onto Stoney Creek in Ionia this morning. Anyone been there recently? Wade upstream from the bridge on Wager?
Any help is appreciated.
We used to catch a fair number of smallies out of the Flat floating from Greenville down to Belding. And tons of rockstars, too. I used to put my boat in the river above the dam in Belding and get some there, too. I haven't fished it, but I hear great things about the Flat above Greenville, like from Industrial Drive north. Don't know anythign about Stoney.
