Title: Black Lake/ Cheboygan
Post by: mikesmiph on May 22, 2010, 09:33:51 AM
A friend invited me for a weekend of camping early July on Black Lake. Never been there before. Anyone tell me what to expect? Of course I'm taking the boat if I go.

Black is a smaller version of Mullett it has a lot of walleye and smallies and is known for the sturgeon in the lake.  Cold and clear thee is a huge UAW campground that is on the lake I always thought that the TBF should of moved the state fish off to black the day after Burt and Mullett it is a truely good place to have fun and catch nice fish.

Brandon and I are both from Onaway.....Brandon's family lives on Black Lake...I'm sure he can help you, heck he will probably be there when you are there.
