Fished Sanford most of the day yesterday, ran most of the lake. Not much going on in the river up north, I caught a few dinks and one decent LM. I met my wife at a launch after school to pick up my son Hunter, and that's when the fun really began. His first cast netted a 3+ smallie and a few casts later he gets a 4lb 7oz smallie on his wacky senko. We ended up just a shade over 20lbs on the xtools culling scale! Here's a pic of his 4/7 (his biggest smallie to date)
That's a toad! Another lake I haven't been back to in many, many years.

our club is having a tournament there in june (27th). its been years since i've been on that lake. helpful hints are always appreciated.. :)
