Title: Fishing Lobdell Today
Post by: Durand Dan on May 01, 2010, 08:05:20 PM
I got out on the water after the storms pasted this morning. Spent the first hour or so throwing jigs and drop shots in about 10 to 12 fow. I ended up in Stumps Cove about 12:00 and started ripping a rattletrap on the downside of of the 25mph wind. This seemed to be the ticket. I started connecting on bass in 4 to 5 fow. As I casted toward shore I had a Pike hit 3 times, and as it got close to the boat it was hooked up. All of a sudden a Bass came perpendicular to the retrieve, knocked the lure out of the Pikes mouth and swallowed it. 2-1/2lber in the boat. What a rush!

Cool, I may head out there tomorrow when the wife is at a baby shower. Depends on the weather.
