Fished Sanford Lake for the opening weekend of C&R and caught 4 nice largemouth and a few small pike. Caught the fish mainly south of Sanford lake Marina on spinners. Would like to catch more smallies and was wondering which areas of the lake are best for smallmouth. Is the lake north of the marina usually better fishing? Seems like a great lake for bass and looking forward to fishing it more
