Mission accomplished - turkey season officially ended for me at 7:25am this morning. Now I can hit the water! The bird was smaller than I expected (acting like the most dominate tom in the woods) when I picked him up, but it didn't matter since it was a thrilling hunt. Probably the most fun of any of the 10 turkeys I've shot. I actually missed a bigger one earlier that went trucking by trying to catch up to his friends, then stayed-put because there were still birds gobbling all around the woods. Worked a group of 3 birds for a good half-hour that hung up just out of range, then they finally came in and I got an easy 20 yard shot.
Nice job Marc. Any pics of the birdie??? lol Go get some fish now !!!!!
Way to go, nice job!
