I might be in need of a trolling motor soon. Mine is not working right and with the bass season about to start I don't want to be messing around with it. I was looking to see if anyone had a used one that they could let go of for a decent price. I don't need anything special just need it to work. Thanks Mike
I have 2 of them I can part with.
One is an older motor guide 42inch shaft. The other is a newer maybe 2000 or newer. Its a 60inch shaft. Both are 24 volt. I have pics I can send if interested.
I'm going to try and trouble shoot the one I have and if it doesn't work I will be in contact with you so that we can set something up. If you have pics please send them but as long as they work I'm not going to be too picky. I just have to be on the water this year.
I do know a trolling motor repair guy? his name is rich but he is in Indiana I can gte the number if you want it. good luck!!

Brian,
Please shoot me a PM with an email address. And I can send pictures and price.
OK, I bought a trolling motor thinking it would work but it's to long for my boat. So now I need to sell it or trade it for a 42" shaft trolling motor. The one I bought is a Motorguide 52" and 71lbs thrust 24v. I need something just like it but in a shorter shaft. The sell price is $175 or even trade. Thank Mike
Mike why is a 52 inch too long??? I am just curious..That is what I run and I love it...
I have a Johnson 42 inch shaft that you can have...It is in great shape physically but it stops intermittently...I put a new switch on it but that didn't help...It sat for a long time and I would bet there is a flat spot..You can probably get it fixed pretty reasonable at one of the motor places......Alot of guys swear by these Johnson motors...I know you didn't want to mess with fixing anything but you can have this and see what you can come up with....Just a thought...
There is a TM guy in Port huron....If memory serves me right your in the Lansing Area...Maybe Dan has someone that can hook you up....
The trolling motor sits way to high up and even with adjusted that high I don't think that I could fish some shallow water being that the motor still is pretty far below the boat. Thanks for the offer on the trolling motor, but I got my OMC to work on 24v now just have to bypass the 12v/24v switch on the front deck. Now I just need to get out on the lake.
