I remember that place. If we were lucky, my dad would take us there about once every year. They would serve our fish and chips on what looked like a newspaper.

Aurther Treachers rocked......Long john silvers isn't even in the same league....

There used to be a couple of them in Lansing....I used to stop there on my way to work....

For the Lansing guys....Jon's Country burger used to have a good Fish meal for on the go...

I think Jon's is just around the corner from Dan K's.......

The secret to true English Style fish and chips, other than the Malt, is that it is made with shark and not cod. Anymore when you get fish and chips, if you ask what kind of fish it is, no one knows. And that my friends is why the Kids inbox was full.

I saw one down by Sandusky and ate there for old times sake. it was not good, pre processed square pieces of fish. Not near as good as I remember growing up.

Believe it or not, but Leos' Coney Island has some of the best fish and chips I ever ate. Try it next time you go by one. The only other place that beats them all is Bet and Jesse's Fish and Chips in redford off of Grand River just pass 8mile.
