wonder if this is a real photo.. they say use BIG Baits...
HOLY !@#$ that is some picture. Now you have to wonder how somebody just happend to have the camera out to catch that shot???? cause you would figure that it would have taken off it in a hurry but Dang that is an awsome sight
I have seen fishing shows in Canada like Babe Winkleman where they have netted huge northern pike just hanging onto a walleye that was hooked. Had a few Muskies on St. Clair grab the smallmouth I was fighting and not let go until they were brought to the boat. So yeah, I can believe the picture.
I remember several years ago, there was a picture going around of a 50"+ musky that choked to death on a 35"+ northern pike. Half of the pike was hanging out of the musky.
I don't know if the pic is real, but I do know that big pike (20+ lbs) will eat some really big "bait". I have had this happen in Canada a few times on large fish. The hang on until they get right next to the boat! But they were nothing like the gator in that picture, if indeed that is real!

I think that pic is real, look at the ripples on the water; they follow the same lines even over the fish. That would be a lot of work if this pic was faked. Just wish I knew what lake it was on!
That picture has been the cause of a whole lot of debate...
In a BFL while prefishing 2 years ago I had a 3 1/2 pound largemouth in the Detroit River eat a 7 inch rock bass that I had hooked on a Senko. I landed them both and let the happy little fella go. I have had this happen with pike and muskie, but never a bass. ;D
