Talked to a friend last night
He tells me he knows some guys still fishing the hot pond in a boat?
There carrying a a small boat down over the marsh and then fishing the open water
There catching bass and walleye in there
I thought I had a problem with fishing to much
those guys are over the top by a mile
Maybe no one told them that the season is closed :D
Was just talking to a guy at work today, who said he knew some guys fishing the hot pond on Sag bay from the shore. 1 1/2 mile walk in, then wading up to their waist. I think I'll wait a month.
I heard the same thing about saginaw bay hot pond and I seen a pic of walleye and smallmouth from the guy that fishes it, the smallie was held up next to a 24 box of beer and it looked just as big as the box.
He said he gets his best walleye fishing at night and its hairy becouse your wading in the dark...think I'll wait till softwater :-\'
I think its about time to spend a weekend at Newton.;) Still got a good 6 weeks before some of the lakes open up in Indiana.
Newton!
McCarter himself :-\'
I love Fig Newtons. :o
How about a 4 hour drive to fish some warm water in February. I need some big bucketheads on the end of my line to cure this cabin fever and to top it off might have some fig newtons for lunch.
ok. lets go.
