Title: little kids and parents, or couples tourneys???
Post by: Frank on January 07, 2010, 04:24:46 AM
does any one out there do a couples tourney.  i would be very interested in knowing where i could go to do this.

also, what about a parent and little kid tourney.  my daughter would love to do a tourney with me, but she is still at the live bait stage.  Maybe a "lures for adults, anything for kids tourney".  I know there are MHSAA regulations on cash prizes so i dont mind a no cash prize tourney.  wouldn't it be fun?  My daughter has gotten so good at casting that now she just sits there with her worm and snipes my fish.  if i get a big top water explosion that misses, she is dead on with her worm and bobber.  we wait a minute or two, and she catches my misses, every time, bigger than the ones i bring in.  the look on her face is priceless.

I think Fishers of Men has a father son/daughter division.

I would be all for something like that. All my kids love to fish, and I have 5 grandkids. We might need a pontoon boat LOL

Avid Anglers puts on a Father/Daughter Tournament every year on Father's Day.  There is also this tournament. (taken from a post last year)
