I actually fished in shorts! Got out on belleville today did some running around fished a little, caught a few crappies on? 1/4 oz road runners. they where deep I'd say about 15 feet. I love the Champion I just bought and I think it is gonna be a good year. If anyones ever on Bellville and see a white and blue champion 186 with a merc xr6 150 old style and a guy that apears to have no neck come on over and say Hi I will let you know how I am doing. Names Dennis
Yes, it was a great day. I spent most of it crawling around on my hands and knees cleaning flower beds in the front yard...yuk.As boat after boat drove by I tried not to glance in the garage at the Bug Boat just sittin' there lookin' pretty. What really put me in misery was when 3 kids rode by on their bikes, fishin' stuff in tow! I was with 'em there right up to the part where I pulled out a glob of lillies! Tried to pay attention after that.
Soon I shall make 'em pay for my misery!
on belleville also. 10:30 to 1:30.
know why public launch was closed?? sandy's had a good day thou..
Yesterday was the first day Sandy's was open. They lock up the the Co. launch on the 15 of april every year to give Sandy's a good first weekend. That place was nuts I saw a guy take of on a Jet ski no wet suite or life jacket. He also didn't know how to back a tralier in, after he got it off he pulled sideways and parked where no one could get around him.
ok - guess i didn't know that. bet a lot of people were turned away then. that lot of theirs can get pretty hectic w/traffic coming in & out. glad i got there early enuff to launch. leaving was a little wait as the day was picking up buisness. don't recall if i saw the champion or not, but i was in a little red skeeter just buzzin' around.
