Since I have winterized my boat, I have been heading out to some of the local ponds in my area. I haven't done too awful bad. Caught some hefty bucketmouths. Some in the 5lb range. Lots of 3's and 4's. White chatterbait has been good but the real bait is the KaRu chatterbait style lure in white. That blade wacking against the football head has really turned them on. I haven't done well on that KaRu out on the water, but when pond fishing it has been the big producer for both size and numbers. Heading out again tomorrow afternoon. May try a few other things.
