Well, for this year I have a bass every month except Jan. and Feb. New goal: Catch a bass every year of the month. I plan on using Newton Lake in Illinois and a possible trip to Florida in Feb. to make this happen during the "closed season" in Michigan.
Anyone else ever caught a bass every month of the season? Let me add I don't target bass thru the ice (the 2 or 3 times Ed or Brandon drag me out on the ice). I am refering to actually targeting bass with a rod... casting, trolling, etc...
Interesting concept for frozen water anglers. I'll have to think about that, but I'm pretty sure the year I fished the original Everstart Series and the All American that I caught bass in every month, but in 8 or 9 different states.
I set the same goal when I lived in Indiana-there is no closed season there and was successful. I put my boat away after Thanksgiving and fished streams and pounds the rest of the year. February was the tuff month but I finally got a 4 pounder on a spinner bait toward the end of the month. It was fun and beat the heck out of setting around watching the tube.
