open seat on hardy tomorrow morning if anyone is interested. prefishing for my club T there on sunday.
shoot me a pm.
how did you do on Hardy????
culled about 50lbs
(of pike)
nice :)
Been the same for me in my limited experience there in the fall.
I'm convinced that "Hardy" is Native American for "lake with many fish that will not bite".
;D
I'm confident it is for "lake with many long skinny fish with teeth that like to steal expensive jerkbaits especially the first time you've ever used them anywhere and they still look really nice out of the box with no rust on the hooks yet"
or something like that... :-\'
well, whatever you do - don't throw a freaking spinnerbait.
no exaggeration, i threw 50+lbs of pike over the side of the boat that day.
Don't throw a drop shot either... you might accidentally catch a bass!
i had plenty of bass that would just hit the blades or follow it to the boat... kept changing things on the bait but they wouldn't commit... only reason i kept throwing it.
