Title: Rogers Pond
Post by: Eric on July 05, 2009, 05:13:03 PM
I'm talking the one above Hardy.

I'm going there tomororw night for the first time ever.  Anyone been there before with any ideas to try, or any dangers to be aware of?

Watch out for stuff you don't know about?

Great insight Dan.   ::)  hopefully at this time tomorrow, I still won't know about anything I didn't want to.

I looked for a map of that place everywhere and couldn't find one. I never took my boat out there but I saw a few others running right down the middle.
I fished it last fall from shore a couple times and did pretty good down on the southeast side near the dam.

Eric,

The only person I can think of that might have information on that lake is Craig up at "The Eyes Have It" in Leroy.  He seems to know something about all the lakes north of Kent County.  http://www.theeyeshaveit.net/

You could also check with Parsley's Sports in Newaygo.  They are right on the Muskegon river.  That is one of the few places you can get a map of Hardy, they might have one of Rogers.
