How hard is it to tag a long with someone for a small tournament? I just purchased a bass boat but I was told this club has some good bass fishermen and I could learn a lot from you guys...
sounds like you better try to join this winter, you can decide at each tournament if
you want to fish out of your own boat or not.
For example if we are going to fish a lake your not familiar with, go as a
nonboater that day. But if you know the lake we are going to and want to
fish out of your boat, you still can.
We are all very unselfish, and will help you any way we can if your fishing out of
our boat or not.
We had a nonboater join the club two years ago and he ended up angler of the
year for the club, his first year! maybe we showed him too much :)
nobody is going to back boat you in one of our club tournaments, i can guarantee that.
hope to see you around.

How do I join in the winter time? Is there a meeting at the Sanford Lake Bar and Grill? Also, has anyone fished Small Wood Lake? I have been hitting that hard and can only come up with a couple of smallies. I know I am a beginner but a friend of mine says he has never seen such a hard lake to fish. I do know a lot of people up there keep the fish but I wouldn't think the population would be that low?? Any ideas???
Thanks,
Casey
