Fished Orchard today from 6-11 am. Water temp was 65. First fish came on a grey rico popper. 12" smallie. Caught a 36" pike on a Crank in 15' of water on the outside of the weedline. That was fun and unexpected. Picked up a 16" smallie on a tube in 6' hopping it in the rocks. Caught another 12" smallie burning a lipless crank in 4'. Last fish was a 13" largemouth that fell to the rico. Fish are off the beds definate post spawn bite. Saw a few largies guarding fry in the back coves. Give it a few weeks and it should be better. The largies I saw were a resepectable size. Wind was whipping pretty good too.
Nice report
I like Orchard myself
We ended up fishing Cass
And it was a tough bite
Ended up with 8 smallies and one LM
