Thank you Brian
Actualy that fish isnt the 6-2 from the DK open, I cought that 6-10  on monday along with a 6-4 and several heavy fish in the high 5's for 29 plus lbs...NO B.S. I HAVE A WITNESS AND THE PICS!

there was no roland martin stretched arm trick photography done there and I think its a great pic.

That 6-10 is the weight from the golden rule board and I feel confident saying it was heavier than the largemouth conversion on the golden rule board but Im happy with 6-10, its my biggest smallmouth to date and I figure it was more like 7 lbs but again I cant complain about a legit 6-10.

my partner held the fish in the water while I grabbed the camera and the fish wasnt put on my scale becouse I didnt want to risk that fish not going back to its bed, I put it right back on top of its bed, Id like to see big brooders like that finnish protecting the future giants in the gene pool.

heres a pic from the DK open

Man you really know how to whack 'em out there skip.  On a day when it was tough to get 15 lbs you go out there and kill 'em.  That's impressive, hats off to you!

Consecutive
Adjective
1. One after the other; "back-to-back home runs".

2. In regular succession without gaps; "serial concerts".

3. Successive (without a break); "sick for five straight days".

Adverb
1. In a consecutive manner; "we numbered the papers consecutively".

Consecutive wins would mean one after another.
While this was Skip's second win and very impressive, I believe the only member to date to have consecutive wins is........ let's see now........... pause pause pause....... OH YES!

That would be MadWags 2008 Spring and Fall DK Open consecutive wins.  :P

Ok ok I was boater on Clair and non boater on Hardy Dam Pond, but still.  ::)

:-*Just remember that McCarter.  ;D

Of course I was with Skip the only time he did not win it. He came very close to a three-peat though with a couple ounces out of first. I told my buddies when we were up north that I guarontee Skip would win it this year (without mentioning any details). I say that because if it was half as windy as it was on Grand Lake everyone else would be fishing largemouth while Skip braves the rough water to get to those spring smallie goldmines hes got. Probably would not matter if everyone could fish the mainlake anyways. Congrats on your second DK title.
