Title: Xtreme Bass Tackle at KD Outdoors
Post by: WayneC on May 14, 2009, 09:28:34 PM

Ken is one of the hardest working dealers in the area for getting us the hard to find or high quality baits that we are looking for and his lineup at KD Outdoors is near a seasonal peak.  It's a great time to get XBT Great Lakes Perchtm which is on an endcap near the register or many other XBT packaged baits.

Ken has a big bulk section too which has mostly XBT and Reaper Products bulk baits made by Precision Lures.  They are really precise at Precision as they use the best plastic in the industry which is why the colors in their baits look so crisp and clear.  Ken's years of experience in the industry show in how he makes sure the top producing colors in our area are available.

You can find KD Outdoors in Waterford on M-59 just east of Williams Lake road.  They have good hours and a knowledgable staff.

Took some "glow in the dark" tubes in this week and got some stock refreshed.  I noticed that Ken has a good supply of those avocado copper tubes.  Those won't last long when St. Clair anglers find out.  Thanks everyone for buying my books there too.  They are down to two, No Secrets 1 and Smallmouth Confidential.

Thanks Ken for the personal tackle support before the NBAA Detroit Open!  I put two in the boat with the crankbait and used each type of terminal tackle I picked up from you.

Since Great Lakes Perch almost completely sold out KD Outdoors has reloaded with more along with: Great Lakes Craw, the new Emerald Shiner with Natural Forage Technology in 4" and drop-shot tubes and St. Clair Crayfish drop-shot tubes.  In bulk I dropped off Sand Craw Ghost, dark melon copper (orange), 5" Light Erie Green and others.  Ken will be in this weekend to help with all of your bait and tackle needs.

Ken has restocked with the hottest selling baits including Great Lakes Perchtm, the new Emerald Shiner with Natural Forage Technologytm, Great Lakes Craw and more.  Look for the new additions to the bulk tubes as well.  There are some new drop-shot colors, dark melon orange 4" and Light Erie Green 5".  KD is always pushing the tournament tackle envelope and Ken and his experienced staff will be there to help you with tackle selections this weekend.

Ken just got in more of the NEW 4" Emerald Shiner tubes with Natural Forage Technologytm plus some 5" Emerald Shiner in bulk.  Formula G3 was also added in 4" tubes and 4" skirted twin tails.  If you're looking for Great Lakes Craw (sold out now at XBT and most stores - new batch coming in) is available at KD Outdoors in 10 packs for now.

Are the Great Lakes Craw 4 inch available in 25 packs??  If not at this time....when??  Also, the Sand Craw  ;)  has been awesome.  Swam it Sunday on the Mile Roads and caught 17 fish in 3 hours.  5 point six six six seven (5.6667) an hour is not a bad average.  Lots of 2 to 2.5 pound fish.  A couple over 3.

The 4" Great Lakes Craw and 4" St. Clair Crayfish will be in my hands by the end of the week and shortly thereafter to the stores.  I'm told the colors came in good.

I called KD today and all they had in the Great Lakes Craw were the 10 packs.  Will there be any 25 packs delivered there soon?  KD is between my work and home and pass by there every day almost...... :D  This is the time of year I start to go to Erie almost exclusively.  And where is Terry Melvin's trailer going to be over the next few weeks?  If I happen to be coming out to your side of town, I'll give you a call.  I am looking for convenience here.  Thanks for a great product Wayne.    8)

moto - I sent messages to both parties about your post here.

BD - Your baits are behind the counter so you'll have to ask for them.
