Contrary to popular belief everyone is NOT entitled to their own opinion!

I think it had something to do with the "free for all" forum when it turned into a religious debate and was locked...I understand CR's frustration, its impossible to talk religion or politics and have all share the same oppinion but Im very surprised to see he closed his account.
hopefully he gets out fishin, clears his head and reinstates his membership.

I don't know if CR was asked to leave or left on his own, I don't know if anyone but maybe DK knows for sure.  I do think it is terrible when we lose members regardless of the reason.  I am a firm believer of to each their own.  We all can't have the same opinion on everything.  How boring would it be if we did?!

Was CR a Cyrus too?

No his name is Charles, I spoke with him on BBC and he told me he decided to leave on his own. He basicly said he left because he did not like some things that were going on here. He had some complaints which I agreed with what he mentioned. We might get together on Lake Michigan in Indiana before the season opener here so maybe he can clear his head and sign back up.

If necessary, please reread the forum and web site rules (http://www.greatlakesbass.com/forum/index.php?topic=4.0) under General Questions and Support (http://www.greatlakesbass.com/forum/index.php?board=1.0) of the terms you agree to accept and abide by when you voluntarily use this free web site.

Particularly Rule 1 and Rule 8. Thank you.

These are good rules to follow.  It just wasn't my Grandfather that told me.........it was also my Dad, Mom, Uncles, Aunts, Grandmother, etc.  There are a lot of frustrated people around today and stress levels are running higher than ever before.  And csfishslayer is right....it doesn't make for good conversation.  On this forum the subjects that we choose to talk about make for good conversation and we should all know that we all have feelings and that with stress running at levels higher than ever we should be more considerate of our neighbors here on the board.  I too am sorry to see CR go, but rules are rules.  I don't always like rules either but I do my best to use good judgement.  That is not always an easy task.
