Title: Nemesis Plugged at the BASS Open
Post by: TCook on January 31, 2009, 04:07:41 PM
The Nemesis stickbait was just plugged on the BASS southern open weigh in by a Co that finished high. He held up a black and blue w/emerald flake stick and said his boaters started asking him for some baits to use because they were working so well for him.

I did not catch his name but I am thinking it was Jon Jezierski

That was a custom color we did for him for the tournament.  Had a few other colors in it as well.  Way to go JJ and thanks for the plug.

Awesome!  Hard to ignore a bait that works, huh?   ;D

Brian, can you do the 912 laminate?  Better yet, add a little gold to the watermelon, and a little purple to the GP.

Whatta ya think?

I really liked the sample stickbaits you sent with an order last year. I am going to order some shortly. What is the "mean pumpkin" color and the KLK and KLB colors?

I've used the baits.  They're good.  Got some colors, but I'll need more.

Nice sink rate, soft texture, but not so soft they tear up easy like some.

I've even got some of the laminates.  Nice.

Question:  Can we order them with scent already in the plastic?

I like the Yum scent, but am also fond of garlic.  The bass seem to like both.

I think Gary Yamamoto was living in a tent,  before i started buying Senkos.  And the rest is history as they say.

Sorry i am just now getting back on this, i forgot it was here.

Mean pumpkin is green pumpkin with green hi lite poweder.  It makes kinda a swirl effect of green pumpkin with a metallic green metal flake hue.

KLB is smoke with small black, gold, and silver flake and medium purple flake.

KLK is a cross between green pumpkin and watermelon for the base color and it has double black, purple, and chartruese flakes in it.

The mean pumpkin is a color I really need to stock up on. I had a few from some sample packs and cought a nice bass on each of the 4 baits I had until I ran out, on Paw Paw lake of course.

mean pumpkin works.  its just one of those colors, its a little different than what the bass see everyday but still a very natural looking color.  i cant believe no one else thought of it.  its a no brainer.  Green pumpkin with green hi lite?  c'mon.  you know its gonna get bit!

Oh and Fiker, we can cook scent into the baits but i make no guarantees the color will come out exact. but as long as the scent is not water based, we can do it.

Talked to JJ today.  He said he had second place locked up with the bites he had on day 3 but just couldnt get them to the boat.  and he missed 3 bites on day 2 that cost him.  But he said if his execution was better, he could have won it all.  He had the bites but was bit by bad luck as well.

Either way, hats off to him on his high finish.  I know first hand how hard it is to fish behind a pro who is flipping mats and/or bed fishing all day.

Thanks for having the confidence in our products and showing us that Michigan baits work great in Florida, too.

Nemesis also got a pretty good plug in the February issue of North American Fisherman Magazine.  They were touting the dropshot goby bait.  You guys are getting some press.  Nothing wrong with free advertising.  I might have to try your baits now.    :o
