Trouble with Sundays is that some of the guys can't do Sundays.

Hey guys, I can do Sundays if it's in the afternoon.  As of August our church moved services back to 10am.  So if it were anytime after 2 I could make it.  Yay, that means I can fish on Sunday afternoons now too!

We need to have an Eastside meeting also.  I have a few guys who want to come to a meeting to check us out, but they are asking if we're meeting on the Eastside.  So I'd suggest a meeting to set the schedule at the Bdubs on Hall Road in mid to late February in addition to the swap meet.

Swap meet - Fun

Meeting - Business  :)  mostly

Hi Guys,

I'd prefer to go to Mojo's rather than BPS whichever day we pick. I'll have dropshot weights and tube jig leadheads also. If anybody wants a syringe and needle for fizzing fish, let me know and I'll see if I can get more or find the ones I have.

I'd also be willing to bring a dish to pass or some kind of beverage, chips or whatever to the swap meet/meeting. Another meeting late February sounds good too. Maybe we can firm up some of the dates and lakes we pick.

Let's all hope for an early spring, Mark

PS. if anybody wants to place an order so I have enough on hand feel free to call or email me.
Dropshot weights $2.50 for 10 -   1/8 - 5/8 ounce
Tube jig leadheads $3.50 for 10 -   1/8 through 3/8 ounce

If we end up going to Mojo's I'll bring something as well.

Mark, can you only do lead, or is tungsten a possibility for ds weights as well.  Never used W but I hear it's pretty good.

The later meeting more towards the East Side is fine with me also.

But, I'm not bringing my fishing stuff to swap/sell, and then lose the money in a poker game.  Then where would I be?

And trust me, I always lose at poker.

I'm thinking  ??? maybe I could trade someone a cranking stick for a old Zebco spincast... hehehe sounds like a good time. I will try to talk the wife into making some cookies. It always helps to keep sugar levels up. None for you McCarter

Mike let me know soon if you can.

Oh well back to the motor project.

No, I can't do tungsten, I'm having a hard enough time finding lead at a decent price.

Don, what kind of motor project do you have going?

Hey Willie,

I picked up a 99 Skeeter SX186 in late fall with motor issues. I just tore into this last weekend. To make a long story short I'm rebuilding it in my garage.

You know these Yamaha motors have alot of parts in them..... I wonder how many I'll have left over ...  ::)

Sounds like fun.  I could trade some stuff...hopefully cull and get down to one locker-full of baits.  I'll post here this week once I know exactly what my weekend schedule looks like.

Thanks Mojo!

So far I think I can make it.  Just can't be a late evening though.  2-5pm-ish sounds doable.

Lets get some directions and we'll see what happens.

;D ;D OK wildmen and ladies  Club Meeting - Sunday - 2 - 5 in Waterford. Lets consider this a club meeting and get a few dates proposed - with swap meet as a bonus. Bring rods, reels, lures, weights, lines etc to trade. Cash on hand is good. Some non-member who are GLB members were invited, so lets extend that to your close fishing friends too.

Im in Waterford - Cass Lake rd to Cass Elizebeth (just like you are going to Dodge Park) I'm the 3rd road on the right - 768 Woodingham.

Bring a side or snack or a 2 liter or beer, whatever ... you've done this before, Ill have chicken / subs.

Will also have Wii Bass Fishing for entertainment, or the Outdoor Network upstairs -  Xbox tournament trail on lake Okachobee downstairs !!

You can attend, not swap anything but your tall tales and we'll still have fun.

Actually - that was pretty darn cool today - Thanks for everyone coming out. Had  bout 8 or 9 of us.

Laporte and Wags made first trade - couple a top water lucky crafts for a crankin stick,  next a couple of of us swapped some lures. Few of us bought some sponsor brought soft plastics. Many picked up their tube jigs and DS weights from Mark. All in all the food and company was great - and I hope we can get together before the dK open !!!!

Shoulda made y'all take a turn on the WII bass fishin game though !!

Ditto Bender...sorry I missed it. Didn't get finished crawling around the attic till well after my 5pm deadline.  Perhaps our next meeting can be at my place...prior to the DK.   I'll check with the wife.  I'm not the one in charge around here.  Thanks for hosting though Mojo.

Do we have a tentative event schedule yet for the club?

Eric

Sorry guys.  I got hung up and couldn't make it either.  Last minute obligation.  Grr.  I wanted to be there.  Can we schedule a meeting for March to set the schedule?  I'll put up a post about it.
