Title: D&R Sports Weeknight Seminar
Post by: Cy on January 07, 2009, 03:58:15 PM
I just received an email from D&R about their weeknight seminars.  I thought some of you might find this interesting.  I would like to hear a couple of these if I can find the time.

It's to bad these seminars take place during the week. They sound like they are pretty interesting
Logistically it just won't work for me to drive those kind of miles on a Weds. or Thurs.

I'd be interested in carpooling with you fellow G.R. guys on a couple of these. Not tonight though, but lets keep in touch. I think Cyrus and Waterfoul both have my email address if you want to communicate (faster) that way.

I'm good with a road trip to Kzoo with who wants to go.  My wife starts classes next week, I think Tuesday and Wednesday, but I will double check.  I would be in for a Thursday night trip, the heavy cover with JVD is good.  I definitely want to hit the one on the 22nd.

I don't know what most of you think about seminars but I will say that everyone I have been to I have walked away with something.  Either a new tactic, technique or just something to think about.  I always enjoy hearing about someone else opinions or ideas even if it is a topic I feel I know a lot about.

Bring on the information!

I am available for the 14th, 15th and 22nd if any of you are still interested. I could easily meet up along 131 Southbound. The 76th St truckstop is usually a good place with room to park. Let me know if you're interested in any of these. Thanks!

I am interested in the 14th, pending the weather situation. No use being white-knuckled all the way or turning a 45 min drive into double that - know what I mean? Please also email me directly at fasttrack@grar.com tomorrow and we'll make final decisons/arangements.

Went to the Top Water seminar last night.  I am happy to report that I learned a couple things, so you are all in trouble this coming season!!  Randy Van Dam is an accomplished top water fisherman and answered every question asked of him with great information.

I even managed to escape after purchasing only two baits!!!  ;D
