GreatLakesBass.com is happy to announce that
P-Line (http://www.p-line.com/) has signed on for another season to support the bass fishing forum. P-Line has the most impressive selection of high quality fishing line for every possible presentation. I personally use P-Line for my fishing everywhere I go. I especially like the P-Line HALO Co-Fluoride line (http://www.p-line.com/product_detail.php?id=601)!
P-Line also has an assortment of lures for fresh and saltwater, and many accessories including high quality fishing tools we all need to make our sport more enjoyable and productive!
Please remember to consider P-Line for your next line or accessory purchase, available at most quality tackle shops and many online sources such as
,
, D & R Sports Center (http://www.dandrsports.com/) and
.
Visit this page (http://www.p-line.com/etailors.php) on P-Line.com for a complete up-to-date list of Internet sellers, or you can link to physical stores from that page also.
Please remember that all of the companies that choose to support your web site (http://www.greatlakesbass.com/fishing/glbsponsors.html) are what keeps growth and improvements possible. We could not do it without them. Please keep that in mind when you make your purchase choices.
The importance of the support of these companies is growing more critical this winter as GreatLakesBass.com will have to move to a new host/plan that includes a significant increase in cost to allow room for growth and improvements in conjunction with a site redesign coming this winter. As always, thanks for your support, consideration and participation!
Sweet! So as GLB members what's our discount percentage??? ;D
Dan,
You can count on me supporting P-Line! I mad the switch to P-Line last year and couldn't have been more impressed (Flourocarbon).

The forum stays FREE... :o even for you!! ;D
And... bonus!! You get my undying gratitude (like TRT - thanks Duane!!)
Well, I do use P-Line almost exclusively if I'm not using braid. CXX for all my floro leaders and the Extra Strong for spinnerbaits and cranks.
Then you do have my undying gratitude!!
But... have you tried P-Line Spectrex IV (http://www.p-line.com/product_detail.php?id=103)? I like it!! Very good stuff. :)

Never tried it. Why don't you bring me a sample spool to the Novi show. Or, if you prefer... the GR show. Either works for me!! LOL!!! Oh, and does it come in hi-vis yellow??????
Try the Spectrex . You will like it. I've been using it for three years or so. Good stuff.
Willie
Who sells it? Is the price in line with Power Pro?
Cheaper than PowerPro.
for 100 yards is 10.49 for all but 65 lb test, which is about $13 at Basspro.com vs $12.49 to $19 for PowerPro. These may all be sale prices going on right now from the looks of things.
has 150 yard spools for slightly more, but also cheaper by $2 or more per spool than PowerPro.
It comes in 100, 500 and 1500 yard spools there, but you can also find 150 and 300 yard spools at some stores. Spectrex IV only comes in moss green.
hey dan, 2 questions
1 do you go to 10lb halo for ds
2. can you smuggle some pics of the perch tubes from wayne? ;)

karol,
1. I use 8 lb test most often for dropshotting. Depends on the weight I'm using, lure size and cover. I've been playing with the heavier drop shot techniques a few anglers are trying to see what happens... but lots more 'research' to do on line sizes ;D - I tend to use a little on the big size of average, but will be playing more with bigger yet to see what happens. I use 6 lb test when I think I have to and there aren't many snags or other line nicking items around.
2. There's less security around Selfridge NG base than there is around the Great Lakes Perch tube... I HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN IT YET!!! Only 10 more days to the unveiling at Novi! I will smuggle in a stealth camera of some kind to the show to get pics.
I love P-Line Floroclear, been using 6 and 8lb. test for everything from tubing to ds to weightless worms and even shakyheads. It's got a little more stretch than straight floro, but alot less than mono.
P-Line rocks...It is definetly my favorite Co-polymer..
