They are built on the SCII blanks which are the same as the premiers and trimphs(china).  They look good especially for the price.  I use SCII blanks for my casting rods and some of my spinning rods.  On the spinnings I use them from flukes and jerkbaits that don't require the most sensativity.  If you're fishing tubes or drop shots I'd definitely go up the the avid series, more expensive but a better rod.  Anyone carry them locally?  I do like the split grip desinns.

Here my problem. Im covered for the year (I think).

I have a 6.8 and a 7.2 Shimano Crucial for my tube and DS

I have a 7.0 comatrix 457 and a fenwick elitetech 6.10 for crankin and spinners.

I have Fenwick HMG and some ol IM6 Fenwick for the jerkbaits and senko ....

I have a heavy 2pc 8.6 for frogs..........

Otohhhh - I bet this rod would be perfect for jerkbaits ? What length, backbone and tip would you recommend for Jerk bait - how bout for a texas rig plastics / senko ?
